I have IG902 with 4G module... Inhand routers all have SMS reset/reboot option, but IG not...
How to restart device on remote site ?
Is there any option to do that ? or just scheduled restart eg.. every day at 12AM ??
Hi,
The IG902 does not support restarting the device via SMS. However, it can be remotely restarted through the Device Manager platform. It also supports scheduled restart.
1. How to restart IG902 device by Device Manager.
a. Login IG902, switch to "System" -> "Device Cloud" menu, select "Inhand Device Manager" tab, make the function enable and input register account
b. Login Device Manager platform, click "Gateways" menu and then click the serial number of the device that you want to reboot
c. Select "Remote configuration" and input command: reboot -y, then click the Apply button, the device will restart immediately.
2. How to set up a scheduled restart
a. Login IG902, siwtch to "System" -> "Reboot" menu, then enable "Regularly Daily Reboot
b. Set a time for the scheduled restart as desired and save it.
